This is because the heating and air-conditioning solutions come with the construction company itself while they are building the building. This happens when the builder is fully equipped for HVAC jobs. They will have skilled workers and supervisors for the HVAC jobs. For small buildings the HVAC systems may be bought separately but for the big buildings the HVAC system comes in the building plan itself carefully crafted by engineers specializing in this field. In some places the electrical and plumbing are also included in these services.

So the job of a HVAC specialist can be many. He can work as an operator, maintenance engineer, and system designer, manufacturer of HVAC system and sales of HVAC systems. The job of the operator mainly concerns with the controlling of the temperature and humidity of the HVAC system. The HVAC system is particularly required more during the winter seasons. So the comfort of the room solely depends on the efficiency of the HVAC equipments and the operator controlling the system. The operator has to regularly check the temperature, setting the pressure in the ducts, and the humidity in the system and change the settings as may be required. As we all know whenever a system is working 24 hours for seven days, it has to shut down for maintenance work. This maintenance work is usually carried out during the warm seasons when the HVAC system is not required so much. It is at this time the maintenance engineer comes into picture. He checks all the pressure pipe lines and ducts, changes the filters and services the condensers and heaters required for cooling and heating respectively. So the systems performance is very much dependent on the maintenance carried out by the maintenance engineer.

Whenever a house or building is constructed, we also have to think about the HVAC system to be installed in it. The small building usually installs an out of the box HVAC system as advised by the system designer. But for large buildings the law requires the system designer, architect, and the specialist mechanical contractor to sit down and design a HVAC system for the particular building.

The job of the manufacturer and sales of HVAC systems are quite rewarding. These days in every building system designers designs the HVAC system and the manufacturer customs builds the HVAC system for that building. So with the increase of population the manufacturing and sales of HVAC systems has increased by leaps and bounds which brings a huge profit to the manufacturer of HVAC systems.
